Dead Bangkok, by Joel Villines

You aren’t going to get other writers to read your new books unless you also read theirs. Hence my introduction to the world of zombie fiction. Previous to this I’ve never read a zombie book. I’ve seen Dawn of the Dead – the movie – years ago because I lived close to Pittsburgh where it was filmed. That’s the only reason. I don’t get zombie stuff. I don’t like it. Just never did. I know there are hordes of people – flocks of ’em – that love zombie books and flicks. If you do, this book is for you.

Even if you DON’T love zombie books – this book is for you. Really, it was so good that I even read the whole damn book.

Thailand’s Sickest – a Mike Fook Thriller

Same great book. Better title.

Here is “Thailand’s Sickest” for purchase. I’ve not changed the book title at all the distribution channels yet, it will be month to get to all of them.

Thailand’s Sickest – is a full-length vigilante fiction novel, set in Patong Beach, Thailand.

Here are some reviews:

“What a fantastically action packed, scary and realistic story! I really, really enjoyed it – I read it in one day because I just couldn’t put it down! My only criticism would be that it needed a touch more editing, to get rid of some repetition of facts and quite a few grammatical and typing errors. Other than that little quibble, which really did not detract from the book at all, it was spot on. I love that the author has left things open for another book with some of the main characters, although it didn’t feel at all unfinished as some books can when they have more possibilities in the storyline. I will definately be looking for more fiction books from Mike Fook.”

And this review:

“Sir for a first work of fiction wowowowowow. This book isn’t for the feint of heart. If you struggle with the reality of what really bad people do then this book will upset you. If you you want a look at what evils this world really has to offer, if you want to see something that isn’t sanitized, or sugar coated, then read this book……

I have been all over the world and have seen my share of the dark side. This book captures the horror.

I liked that Mr. Fook was able to show the difference and varying degrees of bad guys. He was able to show that even the good guys are flawed and that too is a reality.

Readers this book will shock you like a dip into an ice filled pool of water. It will make your blood boil and you will want to rage. The sad part is that it is all too real. Just like in reality sometimes not all the bad guys are caught and sometimes even those we save are never saved.”

This vigilante fiction novel is not likely to appeal to people with a weak stomach. Anyone with a soul might not enjoy this book. If you enjoy payback stories – this is one of the most hard-hitting you’ll find.

This book is sold exclusively at Amazon.com for the time being.
